Seven amateur photographers are due to have their work appear before the public this August, following a summer social media campaign organised by Jessops. Participants up and down the country were asked to ‘share their summer’ with the retailer through Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, entering their best shots capturing what the summer means to them – with a winner chosen each week.

On top of being showcased in the front windows of Jessops’ 52 stores across the UK, the winners (and runners up) can now look forward to their work being brought to London for a public exhibition celebrating their achievement.

If you’re interested in going along to have a look at the winning entries, the photographs will be displayed in the Olympus-sponsored Project Space Gallery in Bermondsey, London from 8th – 14th August with free entry.
